Your Hosts

Coming from the east coast and being residents of Glacier County since 2002, our love for this area and its adventures goes back to the early 1970’s.
Mark, after graduating high school in Massachusetts, found a summer job on the east side
of the Park in St. Mary. Here he caught a bad case of "the glacier bug", which never went
away. For the past thirty years, he has been returning every year or two to hike, climb,
fish and live with the Blackfoot Indians. Mary came out for the first time in 1985 and
was hooked! Glacier had worked its magic again, but it would be some time before our
dream of living here came true.
Well, we got married and ended up owning a restaurant in New
Hampshire for fifteen years. It was a fabulous place, but all the while we wanted to live in
Montana with the grizzly bears. So, we traded the Riverworks Tavern & Restaurant for the
Glacier Park Inn Bed & Breakfast…up Badrock Canyon in Hungry Horse, Montana.
Mark and I have become quite involved in the local community since we moved to this great place! We have networked with many local groups including the Flathead National Forest Service and Glacier National Park. The past five years we have been acive volunteers for The Glacier Institute and The Great Bear Foundation. All great resources for learning about the local ecosystem and its inhabitants. Our latest project takes us to British Columbia every year to film and learn about the Spirit Bear. Come stay with us and let us share our adventures with you!
The Glacier Park
Inn Bed & Breakfast is dedicated to educating our guests on the unique and fragile ecosystem of Northwest
Montana. Our goal is to give our guests a comfortable, affordable and educational
experience that will last in their memories for decades.
